This weekend we woke up to a strange noise in our backyard. It sounded
like a large angry rodent barking, so we expected to see, I don't know, a woodchuck fight. Instead we saw a white-tail deer trying to charge our cat Widmerpool, who was holding his ground better than you'd expect. The deer was making the barking sounds. I was not so much worried about the cat as I was my bonsai, which were between the cat and the deer. My significant other chased the deer away, and is trying to convince me the cat was protecting the bonsai. Nina, not totally convinced. |

Remember dogs have owners, cats have staff. The cat was protecting its property.
