Default Tokoname Pottery

Tokoname has produced the most recognized bonsai pottery in the last 900 years. Tokoname is part of the 'Six Ancient Kilns of Japan', the others a Bizen, Shigaraki, Tamba, Seto and Echizen. Since the city of Tokoname is in close proximity to the sea, it was able to export more pots than the other cities and this is probably why it is the most well known.
