Good Evening,
I won a raffle at a club meeting last week. The plant is a young (abt 2-3 year old) Japanese White Pine. It is about 8 inches in height. The condition of the needles is not good. They are showing a slight to yellow coloration even some of the tips are brown. My assumations: 1. My first impresssion is nitrogen defiiciency 2. Sun burnt or even salt water watering. My Questions: What can be done with the brown needles ? If Nitrogen deficient fertilzer will green up the plant? if not Who do you teat a plant what is sun burnt? or salt watered.?
