Congratulations to Michael for being the only person from the US to have
trees selected for the prestigious So-Saku Bonsai Academy NET Award 2006.
This is a professional level entry.

There were 102 entries: Mauro Stemberger from Italy won the award.

Two of Michael's trees were in the top ten considered for the award. Kunio
Kobayashi was the judge. Michael's Kingsville Boxwood placed 6th, and his
Korean Hornbeam placed 4th.

All other winners were from Italy and one was from France.
