I was given a bonsai for my birthday.....ichiban bonsai....but no type
checked off on the card.....juniper, box, ficus etc. Is there a sight
where I can compare my tree to pictures?

If you know that it's one of the species on the card, you can go to google,
click on the "Image" button, and go down the list searching for each type
until you find one like your bonsai. If you can describe it well enough
and give a list of what's on the card, someone will probably be able to
identify it for you that way too.
