Golden grove bamboo Please help

Hello,
I live in Zone 5B -6 and I was wondering what I should do with my Golden
Grove bamboo overwinter? Should I cut it down and mulch really well or
should I leave the growth and just mulch? I really don't want to lose it
over the winter.
Please Help.
