If the picture is taken in Switzerland the are two options: spruce or fir. The shape of the tree clearly tells that this is an european white fir (latin: abies alba). The maximum hight of the spiece is about 170 ft. (50 metre) But the tree in the picture is a small one (look at the branches relative to the size of the tree) It is probably only 50 ft. (15 metre). Thanks Jes! Is it probable that it could be even smaller? I mean all trees are very small to begin with, right? ![]() If not, and if this is not a hubcap as I believe, what then is it?
