First it is not a pine, which is seen at the branches. If the picture is
taken in Switzerland the are two options: spruce or fir. The shape of the
tree clearly tells that this is an european white fir (latin: abies alba).
The maximum hight of the spiece is about 170 ft. (50 metre) But the tree
in
the picture is a small one (look at the branches relative to the size of
the
tree) It is probably only 50 ft. (15 metre).

I mean all trees are very small to begin with, right?
If not, and if this is not a hubcap as I believe, what
then is it?
