I think I may need a mini greenhouse to start off seedlings this year.

For (considerably) less:

A plastic fishbox, preferably white plastic (more light) plus a (used)
window panel for its roof. If it's a double glazed window so much the
better.
On chilly nights, an 8-hour tealight on a saucer,will fend off frost.
Ventilation is by laying a stick diagonally across one corner of the
box, under the glass.
