Whirled's gone mad!


(pinched from elsehwere) I'm hoping for whirled peas.

Update should anyone gurgle this fred. Took 9 root
cuttings from 3 parent plants and 8 sprouted. No
rooting powder used. I added 2 cups from the compost
heap to half a bucket of allotment soil. The 5" dia
pots (in coldframe) sit in 2" sand, so only need to
water once per week.
Cautionary note - the new leaves emerged in mid August,
but didn't develop hair or their usual crinkly edges,
for another couple of weeks. In fact, they look ed a
bit like weeds!!! Here's today's pic :
