what an excellent idea especially for someone with a large garden or

You may well buy it and then now need it. Digging a hole big enough you
might reach water anyway. ;-)


Well, just bought one we'll see when it arrives how 'good' it is!

As for the hole - a bit of digging in my sandy/flinty/stony soil might be
a pig but no water to be got for several 10's more feet I suspect.

Try to catch more (all) of the water off the garage roof, the house goes
into the combined drainage system & is too far from the garage and no
space to dig the hole either.

Should save on the tap water for the veg plot!
