Boggle. I live and learn. I always understood the heaviest shoulder
fired shotgun to be a 6 bore, and the heaviest widespread one to be
8 bore. Thank you for educating me.


A 4 bore is more likely to be a rifled or smoothbore slug gun as
opposed to a shotgun - they used to use them for shooting elephants
and other large beasts in Africa.
