Lord Bute is one of the darkest flowers but certainly not bright red!
However when I have grown it Sacha you get an awful lot of leaves for
your money and not enough flowers!
I thought the description was of the type grown on the continent on
balconies.
Might it not be better to get a catalogue from Vernon's, in I think,
Surrey, and buy one good one or even visit. Then keep cuttings?
