Hi,

Am a novice gardener, but eager to learn! Bought a young Magnolia
tree at the weekend. It's quite small at the moment (approx. 1ft) so
all I've done with it so far is repotted it into a larger pot with the
plan being to plant it in the middle of my lawn when it's a bit
bigger. So I just have a couple of questions if that's OK.

What is the average rate of growth for a Magnolia?

What care should I be giving it besides the usual watering?
