Having just moved house and eventually got round to creating 5 raised beds
each 16 x 4 feet
I wonder if I have missed the bus for planting fruit and or veg this year ?

Also I am building the beds over a lawn.....would you take the grass out of
the raised beds ( edging will be about 10ins high ) or turn it over before
putting in good topsoil /compost /
manure ?

Any suggestion for things to plant in over the next two weeks that might
still result in a good edible crop ???
