Aged Horse Manure Avail for the taking

Oh, Sheila, do I ever wish you were close! The aged horse manure (aged to
the point of being nearly soil and filled with earthworms) is what may be
one of the three factors in my garden being much better than it should be
with my not-so-green thumb. The other two factors are that this yard is
blessed (it certainly cannot be my skill!) and that the plants must know
that I really care about them.
Right now, I'm trying to coordinate my supplier with a dump truck, no easy
matter since he can only load on a Saturday which is now even more limited
since he no longer lives where the horse manure is piled. It seemed more
logical this year to hire a small dump truck because the truck I borrow to
haul is a first-rate gas guzzler. With the multiple trips, I spend as
much on gas as they will charge me for hauling one load, and I don't have
to unload each load quickly to get the truck (borrowed) back.
I highly recommend anyone who is fortunate enough to get aged horse manure
to seize the opportunity. I've not had a problem with vegetation in it
(translated: extra weeds in the garden) so this must have been hot enough
to "cook" them prior to decomposing.
