It's more than a month since they were gorging themselves on berries in Zuid
Holland. I haven;t seen any starlings since then. We do have a few sparrows
visiting our garden for the first time for years.



Not so many here now, Lamncs UK, but a couple of dozen are left after the
main flocks went off in November. They are really mixed up this year!
Here we even have starlings attempting nesting in the usual places, mainly
our guttering, dropping grass and straw all over the paths...
Also the Sparrows appear to be searching the usual nest sites - I wonder if
it's too mild here?
