Just one person said your nutrients were too high. The rest said roots
were
normal. I vote for "roots are normal" since every stem plant I've ever had
sent
them out.

I would like to second Dave's point. I have 30 different plants in my 55gal
tank and Hygrophila polysperma, Ludwigia Repens and Water wisteria are the
worst in putting out roots everywhere. Cabomba puts out root only when it
reaches top surface.
