After the gales trashed my greenhouse, the insurance company has given me
£550 to spend on a new 8X6 one. Anybody care to make recommendations. B&Q

nice looking one with curved perspex eaves, which might (?) make it less
susceptible to wind. However the only greenhouse in the local B&Q warehouse
looks a bit flimsy - you can move the end wall in and out with fingertip
pressure.
Any advice will be very welcome

I'm just starting out with my first greenhouse, a 6 x 8 Elite Craftsman
which I bought from 'The Greenhouse People' last November. It withstood
those 90mph gales okay. You need a sturdy job cos the insurance company
might not be so happy about another claim. I took my time choosing and
B&Q finished at the bottom of my list.
Download the special offers booklet from
http://www.onlinegreenhouses.co.uk/navigation.htm and see what you
think. They do packages which include staging, auto vents and other
stuff at a reasonable price.
Incidentally, thanks for posting this, it reminded me to check that my
greenhouse was insured.
