During the autumn I plan to get rid of an ornamental crab apple
which is sadly too large for the infestation of woolly aphid to
be eradicated effectively. I thought I might be winning, but was
soon disappointed.
Because of the infection, I will not be using the shreddings on
the garden, it can all go in the green wheelie bin.
In its place I want to put a Snake Bark Acer, and would welcome
recommendations for possible specialist sources in my area,
especially if we decide we can afford to go for a more mature
specimen.
