Best Time to Move Perennials
Thanks, Nick. That'll save me a job until later.

I wasn't happy with the placement of some of my perennials, so I want to
move them. Is it a good time to move them now or should I wait another
month or so? Many of them still have some flower-power, but I thought if
I
move them now they'll have time to settle in before winter.
NOT NOW!
Do not move anything, except bulbs that have gone dormant for the
summer, until the ground is wet again. If the weather warms back
up, combined with the dry soil, they will die in short order.
Generally, now is a bit early anyway.
