In the garden in 3' triangle bed. Also in a few other places. It's a

I'm wondering about this 'tightly packed' thing. Ray is sleeping the sleep
of the just right now so I can't consult him BUT I do remember both of us
looking at a garden at Chelsea LAST year in which Rosemary was tightly
planted and both saying "well *that* won't last".
Most Herbs don't grow like that naturally. By Nature they're spaced out in
poor ground which is sharply drained and bakes. Tightly packed is going to
stress your plants, I'd guess, unless you can deliver the above conditions
in abundance. Certainly, Thyme can be excellent ground cover but how much
space do you have between each plant?
