Now to choose the plants for it!

The fun bit! ;-)
Part of the reason for building it was to support a rose "Albertine" which I
just stuck in the ground as a cutting, and which grew so well it needed
something bigger than the obelisk which was supporting it. When I untied
and untangled it, a very prickly customer, and tied it to the new pergola it
reached the top of the 8ft post. Looks as though it has been there for
years!
I have ordered a grafted wisteria, which should come next week, and have a
new cultivar of clematis montana, semi-double pink flowers but can't
remember the name.
What I haven't decided is what other climbing rose to use. Any ideas
anyone?
I thought a repeat flowering type, as "Albertine" is not, pink or peachy
yellow and disease resistant. I'm hoping that one of the new roses will fit
the bill!
