shown in this newsgroup.
However, the plant appears to be Tradescantia spathacea 'Sitara'. It is
easily propagated by cutting about 8cm off one stem, removing a few
leaves from the cut end, and putting that end in some damp compost in a
pot. Keep the pot in a well-lit window, but with no direct sun.
