I am thoroughly sick from the end of September until well into January not
being able to find any reasonable garden stock in so called Garden
Centres, They are filled with Christmas tat,bah humbug!

I'm with you on this. I once wanted to get my brother some gardening stuff
he wanted for Christmas from Wilkinson's. No go in December, full of tat.
