Another thought - there is an app called 'Files' that allows you to
share via bluetooth, onedrive, whatsapp, etc. Not sure if any of the
native stuff on the phone allows this - or indeed whether any of it is
accessible on the phone. If it is actually dead, I suspect even a usb
wouldn't do much.
Finally (I think) some phones actually use something like a micro usb
card internally for storage. Don't know if the Lumias do or not. And
if it does, I'm not sure how easy it would be to access the content if
you get it out of the phone. Other than that, one of the specialist
data retrieval companies might be able to help, at a price - depends on
what the damage is and how important the data is.
