I'm Knackered!
Just given the lawns their first mow of the season. I always use the old
Hayter Harrier for first cut as the direct drive blade deals with all the
sticks and other debris better than the belt driven ones on the big machine.
Plus I think the lawn benefits from the roller on the Hayter.
Trouble is the belt that drives the roller has stretched so I had to push
the damn thing on all the uphill bits (that about a third). Who would think
a quality machine like a Hayter would need a new belt after only 18 years
use...
